Livio FellugaFacts from the pastIn its early centuries of existence, the Abbey’s burgeoning fame was matched by the reputation of its farm produce: olive oil and wine. Olive trees have always been a feature of Rosazzo. They are thought to have been introduced as long ago as 1082, the year when Patriarch Ulrico (Ulrich) made a donation to the Abbey.
But over the centuries, it was the vin di Rosazzis – Rosazzo wine – that achieved the heights of quality and renown which the Livio Felluga winery will today render constant, endorsing its past prestige and introducing the wine into new international and domestic markets.
