DESCRIPTION

Rosenplatz is made in a modern interpretation of the traditional tecniques used for Collio white wines.

Harvest method: Manual
Vinification: The grapes are carefully destemmed. Fermentation is carried out with maceration on the skins at controlled temperatures in stainless steel containers.
Ageing: After alcoholic fermentation, the wines were blended and racked into French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation and cell lysis of fermentation yeasts takes place. The bottled wine is aged in temperatured-controlled binning cellars for a minimum of five months.
Sensory characteristics:
Appearance: straw yellow with light bronze hues

Nose: intriguing, intense, ample with notes of mango, maracuja, lychees, star anise, pink grapefruit, tomato leaf, lilies, wisteria; hints of asparagus, mulberry, fern and pleasant aromas of pastries.

Palate: full, fragrant and harmonious with persistent reminders of retro-nasal aromas; dry and mineral finish.

Serving suggestions: Excellent as an aperitif, Rosenplatz is also an outstanding partner for asparagus, vegetable soups, creamed pulses and marinated fish.
