Livio Felluga

On Monday 5 May, at 7.30 p.m., Harry’s Grill restaurant at the impressive, historic Duchi d’Aosta hotel in Trieste was the setting for the Luigi Veronelli Lifetime Achievement Award 2003. The prize, a specially created sculpture by American designer, Adam D. Thiany, went to Livio Felluga, the man who represents the “historic memory” of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The award is a source of joy for many: for the large Felluga family, which sees Livio’s half century of dedication justly rewarded; and for all the region’s winemakers who have worked alongside him, learned from him and grown with him, demonstrating equal passion and conviction, and contributing to the growth in quality of the territory.
